"ATTACK HORSE is an unprecedented combination. It is a musical combination, for sure, but both more AND less for our group transcends the inexorable translocation of sound from cardboard cone to aural canal. With riff and repetition, we aim to meld the mind with the music. We expect to see an audience enhanced if not totally enlightened. Experiments continue.
ATTACK HORSE is four whole persons each working hard against the others to make something intricate, hypnotic and vast. Between them they have performed hundreds of shows in manifold legendary outfits at a variety of esteemed venues. Each of the four brings a fistful of coloured vials to the new preparation: trip-hop, noise drone, C86, new romanticism, dance punk, quirk rock, garage, progressive and, of growing import, phrenology and krautrock. A few drops on a blotter, three deep breaths and we shall all be entranced.
The ATTACK HORSE conjecture itself is totally NEW. We have played just six concerts, all in close proximity to our Bristol laboratory, including a Friday headliner at the Louisiana. We look forward to our return to the Croft in June but time IS running out (we have proof) and it is a matter of urgency that we present our findings to the rest of the nation and beyond. Conclusions apart, experiments continue and we would like to experiment on you." |
