The star is currently on tour in Europe, and she will be hitting the UK on Friday 24 June to play Wembley Stadium in London, following it up with a show at Coventry’s Ricoh Arena the next night.
While she will be at Hampden Park in Glasgow on the Monday, it leaves the Sunday – the night of Coldplay’s festival closing set – free of tour commitments.
A source told the Daily Star: “Rihanna plays London and Coventry over the festival weekend but there’s a Glasto-shaped gap in her schedule on Sunday, June 26. You never know.”

RiRi has teamed up with Coldplay in the past, most famously on their collaboration Princess of China.
However, she isn’t the only name in the hat after Kylie Minogue confirmed she would love to join them on stage 11 years after she pulled out of the Worthy Farm festival.
Speaking in February, she told The Sun: “I’ll never forget not being able to do Glasto.
“I wanted to be the first woman to headline in, oh how ever many years. I have unfinished business there, and if the opportunity arrives with Coldplay, yes, count me in. I love this band – it would be sensational.”
The singer’s battle with cancer meant she couldn’t perform in 2005, but she appeared alongside Scissor Sisters as a guest in 2010.
