Just in case you’re in any doubt that One Direction will one day get the band back together, Simon Cowell is here to chill us all out.

1D’s former X Factor mentor has a theory that the boys will soon get bored of being massive solo stars and, well, basically miss being bros – and he even suggested a possible lineup change.

“You know, it’s fun being out there on your own but what I hope is going to happen is that they remember now how much fun it was being in a group,” he told The Sun.

“I always believe that you don’t make rules, you break the rules. So there’s nothing to stop them, if they want to, getting together for a tour, for an album.

“I made it absolutely clear, obviously, ‘We’re in’.”
imon also insisted that Zayn Malik could “100 per cent” return to the group at some point down the line (although he should probably check with Zayn first about that).

And – you might want to sit down for this one – Simon even claimed that One Direction “could” reunite WITHOUT Harry Styles, since he’s now a major Hollywood star, but admitted “it wouldn’t be the same”.
