Liam Gallagher has accused his brother Noel of hiding from the Manchester tribute concert after he failed to appear on stage.

The Mancunian said: “What an amazing night last night pure love vibrations nobody comes close to Manchester love forever.

“Oh and if anybody’s seen rkid tell him he can come out now as you were LG”.

He then apologised for the absence, writing:” Manchester id like to apologise for my brothers absence last night very disappointed stay beautiful stay safe”.

Mr Gallagher subsequently tweeted: “Noels out of the f***ing country weren’t we all love get on a f****ing plane and play your tunes for the kids you sad f***”.

He continued the rant, saying “it isn’t about Oasis“.

The former frontman of the band wrote: “F*** the reunion mate it ain’t about oasis it’s about people helping other people and he’s once again shown his true f***ing colours”.

There were rumours the two would reunite to sing Don’t Look Back In Anger together, but Noel Gallagher was allegedly abroad.

Instead, Liam Gallagher sang Oasis hits on stage without his brother at the concert, after he made a surprise appearance.

He had previously said he thought he had a “gig somewhere” so couldn’t attend, and the audience whooped and cheered when he arrived.

He told BBC Radio One before the concert he didn’t think a reunion on the cards.

Fans stayed hopeful, however, when Oasis was tagged in the line-up for the tribute concert.

He told the BBC: “No, it ain’t. Everyone knows I love our kid. He doesn’t speak to me, we don’t speak to each other.

“I’ll speak to him some day. It’s all very sad, but we’ll get over it… I guess it musn’t be nice for my mum… If Oasis ever got back together… if they do, they do. If they don’t, they don’t.

“A lot of people go, ‘Oh, leave it in the past, you were great then’. Mate, if we ever got back together, it would be happening. There’d be no dodgy gigs, it’d be bang on. So there is unfinished business there, but we’ll see what happens. In the meantime, we’re two little solo boys doing our little things.”
