Florence And The Machine have contributed three new songs to the soundtrack of the latest Final Fantasy game.
‘Songs From Final Fantasy XV’ is available now and includes two new cuts (‘Too Much Is Never Enough’ and ‘I Will Be‘) from the Florence Welch-led group, plus a cover of Ben E King classic ‘Stand By Me’.
Welch says in a press release: “I was listening to Classic FM and there was a whole two hour programme about classical music in video games”.
“It was so inspiring and a whole scope of music that I didn’t know about. It was really fascinating, the music was incredibly beautiful and emotional and I took it as a sort of sign, to see what I can do in this medium.”
